ADP cricket girls win in Sylhet and Chittagong

The Bangladesh Cricket Council arranged cricket tournaments in 20 schools to campaign and promote the ICC Twenty20 (T20) World Cup. The tournaments were held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. BRAC Adolescent Development Programme’s (ADP) teams were champions in Sylhet and Chittagong, coming in third place in the Dhaka division.

The Bangladesh Cricket Council arranged cricket tournaments in 20 schools to campaign and promote the ICC Twenty20 (T20) World Cup. The tournaments were held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. BRAC Adolescent Development Programme’s (ADP) teams were champions in Sylhet and Chittagong, coming in third place in the Dhaka division. A total of 39 members of ADP participated in the tournament. The winning team members were chosen as volunteers and carried the flag for different countries at the start of the official T20 matches. Participation in events such as these helps boost confidence and enthusiasm for playing sports, especially for girls.
